I wrote this piece as a part of a freelancing assignment for SkiTaos. Originally, this was intended to be one of five articles I wrote for the Taos Air (a SkiTaos partner) in-flight winter magazine. Eventually, we decided to use a different topic for the magazine and this one was instead published on their blog here.
